Alcohol consumption increases among Irish drinkers during COVID-19

According to Global Drug Survey data, over half of participants in Ireland reported increased drinking since COVID-19 lock-down measures were implemented. Almost one-third indicated that their alcohol consumption had increased a little, while 22% believed it had increased considerably. These findings are higher than the 44% of global survey respondents who indicated that their drinking had increased.
